Greening Efforts: Tree plantations inspected in Taunggyi

Shan State Government is implementing the greening tasks, and getting ready for monsoon tree planting events. To provide the saplings for the events, 5-acre plantation is being nurtured near Hopon View Point.

On Friday, Chief Minister U Sai Htein Soe visited the plantation and instructed officials to make systematic care for thriving of the plantation. The Chief Minister also inspected the 6.6 acres plantation for greening around Taunggyi and 100 acre plantation in the catchment area. They also viewed the chosen site for tree planting event near Hti Phaung Village.
