Green Week walk draws over 900 participants

The Municipal Affairs Bureau hosted a series of tree care activity during the 44th Macau Green Week, drawing more than 900 participants to nurture saplings.

Residents performed weeding and fertilising for 500 saplings during the activities, with many expressing concerns about insufficient urban greenery. 

Member of the Administration Committee on Municipal Affairs of the Municipal Affairs Bureau highlighted the event’s success over the years and announced plans to focus on forest cultivation over the next three critical years. T

he bureau is also considering expanding plant diversity along city streets, with initial greening work planned around Praça de Ferreira do Amaral.
