Graduation Parade: 25th Intake of Defence Services Medical Academy

Graduation Parade of the 25th Intake of Defence Services Medical Academy took place at the Parade Ground of the Academy in Yangon on 18th December.

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing attended the parade, and received the salute of the cadet columns.

He then inspected the graduation cadets column, and presented awards to the outstanding cadets for the versatilities, training and literature. This was followed by a graduation speech by the Senior General. In his speech, the Senior General expressed his appreciation to the experts and specialists graduated from the academy who are safeguarding the health of citizens while making strenuous efforts for the development of nation’s medical sector. 

The Senior General highlighted the crucial role of physical and mental fitness of the Tatmadawmen who are safeguarding nation’s security and instructed to provide sufficient healthcare services at any moment in any place.

The Senior General urged the cadets to continue their studies for achieving advanced medical practices to become excellent specialists who are recognized internationally. He also underscored the pivotal role of public health care in a nation and instructed to provide better health care services to safeguard the well-being of the entire nation.

The Senior General then left the parade ground after receiving the salute of the cadet columns. After the graduation parade, the Senior General met with outstanding cadets, together with their parents and relatives. He congratulated them for their outstanding performance throughout the training period, urging to contribute to the interest of the nation and people. He also stressed them to become reliable leaders who can shoulder the nation’s responsibilities.
