The Graduation Parade for the 127th Intake of the Tatmadaw (Army) Officer Training School (Bahtoo) was held on Wednesday.
Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Commander-in-Chief (Army), Vice Senior General Thiri Phaychi Maha Thayay Sithu Soe Win, attended the ceremony on behalf of the Chairman of the State Administration Council, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Senior General Thadoe Maha Thayay Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing. Following the salute of the graduating cadet columns, the Vice Senior General inspected the cadet columns.
The cadet columns then saluted the Vice Senior General with a march past. Subsequently, the silver sword award was presented to the best cadet.
In his graduation speech, the Vice Senior General urged all to engage in constant military training for capacity building. He also addressed the implementation of the People’s Military Service Law and the government's efforts to combat exploitation of innocent civilians by unscrupulous individuals.
Furthermore, he emphasized the government's commitment to achieving lasting peace for the development of the state, inviting ethnic armed organizations to participate in peace dialogues in line with the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement.
Following the ceremony, the Vice Senior General received a salute from the graduating cadet columns and departed from the parade ground. He then met with outstanding cadets to express words of honor.
