








The Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko together with the Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung, region ministers and officials attended the ceremony of presenting graduation certificate, graduation art exhibition and concert for 2022-2023 academic year State High School of the Arts (Mandalay) held at the National Theater (Mandalay) in the afternoon on March 25.
In his remark, the Union Minister said Mandalay has been designated as the cultural city since in the past. The school of arts was established in Mandalay in 953 and has been turning out many outstanding artists. With the artistic skills and knowledge, the country should be contributed and safeguarded the cultural heritages. The Myanmar traditional cultural arts are needed to be treasured and carried out to be developed and propagated. Such effort is the uplifting the prestige of the mother school, department of fine arts and the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture. The point include in the 12 objectives of the state described as” To respect and promote the customs and traditions of all National people and preserve and safeguard their faiths, beliefs, culture, and characteristics of patriotic nationalism” should be addressed and implemented.
Next, the Union Minister handed the graduation certificate to the 16 students from the department of performing art, art of painting and the art of sculpture and the Mandalay Region Chief Minister gave the medal and prize of cash to the 5 outstanding graduate students and enjoyed the graduation concert performed by the students as the graduation ability show. Then, the Union Minister, Chief Minister, region ministers and well wishers presented cash of honor.
