






The Wednesday with the presence of SAC Member Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Transport and Communications Admiral Tin Aung San. First, the graduate company marched and saluted the Union minister.
Then, he presented the awards to outstanding cadets. He also delivered a graduation speech adding the glorious history of MMMC over 50 years and explained job opportunities for the graduate officers in the water transport sector under the ministry or by linking with foreign shipping companies and the need to make efforts in worksites based on the skills and to become good citizens to keep abreast of the international countries.
He then highlighted the speech delivered by the Head of the State during his visit to MMMC and the need to serve the duties on cargo ships maintaining the dignity of the country, citizens and college. A total of 83 graduates — 27 marine graduates, 50 marine engineers and six marine electronic graduates — completed the No 14 diploma course.
Then, the Union minister and party went to the Myanma Shipyard. The managing director explained the work of shipbuilding and related work. The Union minister and party also inspected the shipyard and the dock with a capacity of 12,000 tonnes and electronic welding training.
They then went to the Myanma Port Authority Office in Kyauktada Township and the Union minister instructed the necessary things regarding the port operations and tax collection. They also inspected the Sule Jetty 1, 2, 3 and 4 and rice export operations.
