Graduation ceremony: Certificate and cash donation offered

The graduation ceremony for the members of Sangha from the Pariyatti teaching monasteries in Hopne and Hsi Hsai Townships of Pa-O Self-Administered Zone, Shan State (South), who passed the Pali Pahtamabyan examination and ceremony of offering offertories and cash donation were held at the Thirimingalar Beikman in the evening on 9th April.

First, the congregation led by Chairman of Leading Body of Pa-O Self-Administered Zone U Khun Ye Htway, Commandant of Military Computer and Technological Institute Brigadier General Thein Naing observed five precepts administered by the presiding Sayadaw of Sasanalankara monastery and took the Paritta Suttas recited by the members of Sangha.

Next, the Chairman of Leading Body of Pa-O Self-Administered Zone U Khun Ye Htway supplicated religious matters. Then, Chairman of Leading Body of Pa-O Self-Administered Zone U Khun Ye Htway, Commandant of Military Computer and Technological Institute Brigadier General Thein Naing offerred the certificates of passing Pali Pahtamabyan examination and donation of cash to the 154 members of Sangha from Hopne and Hsi Hsai Townships.

For enabling to hold the Pali Pahtamabyan examination yearly, at the donation ceremony of perpetual funding, one million Kyats by Chairman of Leading Body of Pa-O Self-Administered Zone U Khun Ye Htway and wife, 1.1 million Kyats by Rice Millers Association, 0.51 million Kyats by Mwedaw pagoda board of trustee were donated and the merits gained were shared, it’s reported.
