Graduation Ceremony: 86th Intake Pilot Course of Defence Services (Air)

A Graduation Ceremony for the 86th Intake Pilot Course of Defence Services (Air) took place in Meiktila on Thursday. On behalf of the Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung attended the ceremony and took the salute of the companies.

He later inspected the graduation company and trainee companies who later marched past to salute the Commander-in-Chief (Air). Meanwhile, the training aircraft flew in formation as a salute. This was followed by presenting the wings to the graduated pilots individually and awards to the outstanding graduated pilots for their versatility, excellence in training and literation.

In his graduation speech, General Tun Aung urged all to serve their duties with responsibility, while making constant training for building capacity.

After the ceremony, the Commander-in-Chief (Air) met with the outstanding graduates and their parents and spoke words of honour. At night, a graduation dinner was held in honour of the completion of No.86th Pilot Course.
