


The 17th Annual General Meeting of Federation of Myanmar Gold Entrepreneurs Association was held at Jewelry Hall, Times City in Yangon on Sunday.
The Meeting aims to foster Myanmar gold sector, to boost businesses for gold entrepreneurs, to facilitate trading and to gain stability in currency exchange market by making a platform with public engagement and participation.
Chairman, Federation of Myanmar Gold Entrepreneurs Association, Kyaw Win said “In this meeting, we’d discuss how we improve the gold sector in collaboration with government, entrepreneurs and employees as well as how to tackle the situation after the gold and gems central market in Myanmar. So, we’ve invited all entrepreneurs and those from related sectors and organizations.”
Along with the expanding of gold trading sector, Myanmar now has standard gold quality in order to penetrate the international markets.
Secretary General, Federation of Myanmar Gold Entrepreneurs Association, Ohn Myaing said “We now have standard gold quality in order to place the international markets. Now, our gold is with 99.99 percent of purity. Plans are underway to export qualified gold to the Japan Market and we will try to export to other countries as well.”
The Federation of Myanmar Gold Entrepreneurs Association has been implementing the gold and gems central market in cooperation with concerned ministries, gold entrepreneurs and experts.
