Global Renewable Energy Investors Meet and Info

India’s Prime Minister inaugurated and addressed the 4th Global Renewable Energy investment meet 2024 in the Indian state of Gujarat on Monday.

He also launched the PM-Surya Ghar: MuftBijliYojana, a scheme which will work to install solar panels on rooftops of about 10 million households. The scheme will also provide 300 units of electricity for free per month to the beneficiaries of this scheme.

The central theme of RE-INVEST 2024 is Mission 500 GW, which underscores India’s strategic goal to expand its renewable energy capacity significantly by 2030. India aims to further consolidate its leadership in the global energy transition.Key international partners for this year’s event include Australia, Denmark, Germany, and Norway.
