Giant inflatables float over Santiago's streets

Under the watchful eye of Chilean President Gabriel Boric, giant lizards, flying spaceships and a variety of other super-sized inflatables invaded the streets of Santiago on Tuesday.

The event was held to launch the European group’s show “Saurian and the Witnesses of Outer Space,” which is on the South American leg of a global tour.

The event sets up Plasticiens Volants' first visit to Chile and also marks the beginning of ‘Santiago a Mil,’ a weeklong festival of artistic and cultural events free throughout the Chilean capital.
