A giant Baby Jesus figurine was put on display in the Iztapalapa suburb of Mexico City on Tuesday in time for Christmas. Every year, the statue takes pride of place in the main square during the holiday season. But the tradition was cancelled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Members of the Catholic community of Iztapalapa were delighted to see the giant figurine back in their suburb. At nearly 13 feet and weighing 1,322 pound, the Baby Jesus statue is one of the largest in the world.
