Gesture of Gratitude: Appreciation to Silent Mentors at Taunggyi Medicine University

The University of Medicine (Taunggyi) held its silent mentor appreciation ceremony at the University’s multipurpose hall on Friday with the attendance by Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister stressed that medical students have to study anatomy and take compulsory courses through theoretical and practical aspects. He added that the practical dissection using real human bodies is the most effective and the best approach for clinical anatomy.
The Chief Minister expressed his belief that the donors themselves would be satisfied for their honorary donations and pleased to see the genuine gratitude and utmost respect by the medical students. After the ceremony, the Chief Minister, along with the State Ministers and concerned officials honored the deceased mentors by laying roses and viewed around the Silent Mentor exhibitions.
