German President pays respects at Britain's Tomb of the Unknown Warrior

On the second day of his state visit to the United Kingdom, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier visits the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior at London's Westminster Abbey and lays a wreath on behalf of the German people. The tomb was dedicated in 1920 with the burial of an unidentified member of Britain's armed forces who fought on the Western Front against German forces during World War I.
