German President condemns North Korean missile tests

German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier condemned North Korea's missile provocations and urged North Korea to resume dialogue during a news conference in Seoul on Friday. Steinmeier met with South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol to discuss bilateral issues and jointly tackle supply chain and energy crisis.

During the joint statement, Steinmeier sexpressed his support for the South Korean government's efforts to resume dialogue with North Korea. Steinmeier is on a three-day visit to South Korea. It is the first visit by a German President in four years.
