Generous Donation: Construction & Renovation of Religious Buildings

Well-wishers made cash donation for the ongoing construction of Maravijaya Buddha Image in DekkinaThiri Township so also the renovation of monastic schools affected by Cyclone MOCHA in Rakhine State, on Thursday.

On the occasion, Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko expressed thanks to the well-wishers for their generous donation. The Union Minister later received the cash donation and presented certificates of honor to the donors.

Asia Express Yangon Company, Shwe Dhana Aung Company, Young Men’s Buddhist Association (YMBA) and Myanmar Inter-Faith Friendship Organization (Central) donated cash totaling 124 million Kyats for the ongoing construction works of Maravijaya Buddha Image so also for the necessary furniture of storm affected monastic schools in Rakhine State.
