Gems Emporium: 2019 Mid-Year Myanmar Gems Emporium Fetches Over 500 Million Euros

2019 Mid-year Myanmar Gems Emporium concluded on Wednesday.

The 10-day sale in Mani Yadana Jade hall and compound in Nay Pyi Taw fetched 506.535 million euros from 5845 jade lots and 378,889 euros from 40 gem lots.

The Mid-year Emporium displayed 481 gem lots and 7,811 jade lots for sale through the open tender system. Gems emporiums have been held in Myanmar since 1964 and this is the 95th emporium which attracted over 5,000 local and foreign merchants.
