Gems And Jade Sale: 3,491 Jade Lots And 9 Gem Lots Sold During 6-Day Emporium

A gems and jade sale in the local currency concluded at the Mani Yadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw, Tuesday.

The emporium fetched over 17 billion kyats from the sale of 1,141 jade lots on the last day. In the evening, a press conference was held and led by officials from the Myanma Gems Enterprise.

According to the official at the press, a total of 3,695 jade lots and 286 gems lots were put on sale at the emporium.

A total of 3,491 jade lots, worth over 59 billion kyats and nine gems lots, worth 36.92 million kyats were sold during the six-day emporium. Jade lot no. 1469 weighing 580 kg, fetched the highest price of 580 million kyats at the sale and more than 2,000 gems merchants attended the emporium.
