Gas pipe explosion injures 57

On the afternoon of Wednesday, a very strong explosion was reported in the streets of eastern Mexico City. A tanker truck filled with LP gas exploded on the border between Santa Martha Acatitla and Los Reyes la Paz, in the State of Mexico. The Mexico City Head of Government reported 57 people were injured, 19 of them in serious condition and 18 vehicles were affected. Emergency response units were on site containing the situation.
