Funeral of Indian general killed in helicopter crash

The remains of Indian Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat and his wife were taken by a funeral procession to a crematorium in New Delhi on Friday. According to local reports, the General will be given a 17 gun salute along with the traditional last rites during the funeral. 

Video taken of the procession shows a large accompaniment of armed forces personnel, as well as onlookers throwing flower petals in the path of the carriage carrying Rawat's remains.  The General was killed when an Indian Air Force helicopter crashed in a forested area on Wednesday, along with his wife and 11 army and air force personnel.
