Funeral for Georgian fighter killed in Ukraine

Thousands of people attended the funeral of David Ratiani, a volunteer fighter killed in Ukraine on Saturday. Bodies of two Georgian fighters killed during the fight against Russian troops in Irpin, Ukraine were brought to Tbilisi this week.

Four Georgian volunteers have died since the start of the Russian military operation. Hundreds of Georgian volunteer fighters are in Ukraine and the Georgian Legion has been present there since 2014.
