




Military columns took the full-dress rehearsal at Nay Pyi Taw Parade Ground in the morning on 24th of March to participate in the parade of the 78th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day, which falls on March 27.
The parade rehearsal comprised Anawrahta Column, Kyansittha Column, Bayintnaung Column, Aungzeya Column, Hsinbyushin Column, Bandoola Column and Aung San Column and they marched to the parade ground from Thittat Ground as gathering point under the parade orders, singing the marching songs to the accompaniment of the Tatmadaw Military Bands.
Vice Chairman of State Administration Council and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, together with Union Minister for Defence General Mya Tun Oo, Chairman of the Leading Committee for Organizing the Armed Forces Day and Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye, Commander-in- Chief (Navy) Admiral Moe Aung, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, Chairman of the Management Committee for Organizing the Armed Forces Day, Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command Maj-Gen Zaw Hein and officials, inspected the parade rehearsal and Then, the Vice-Senior General fulfilled the requirements of officials.Officers and other ranks from Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) and Myanmar Police Force, servicewomen, female members of Special Operation Task Force, Members of the Tatmadaw (Army) machinery and Members of the Tatmadaw (Navy) machinery participated in the parade together with airplanes and helicopters from the Tatmadaw (Air).
