

Cubans have been spending hours lining up in their cars at gas stations in Havana and throughout the country all the week. The country’s President told that the shortage of diesel could be solved soon, but there was no prospect of an immediate improvement in the supply of gasoline.
Over the last few months, and even last year, there were intermittent problems with supply of both diesel and gasoline in Havana and the main cities of the island, causing long lines from time to time.Last week, the problem became more serious.The sale of gasoline had to be rationed and the filling up of jerrycans is now prohibited.In Cuba, the vehicle fleet has engines that run on gasoline and on diesel.
