Fruitful Trip: SAC Information Leader on China tour

Leader of the Information Team of the State Administration Council Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun explained the fruitful outcomes that claimed during the tour of Myanmar High-level delegation to China.

Leader, SAC Information Team, Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun, said " During the meeting with Chinese Premier and concerned officials, they affirmed their recognition on Myanmar’s sovereignty. They also ensured that China will never accept any action that harms Myanmar's interests within its territory. Likewise, Myanmar reiterated its stance on supporting One-China Policy, and affirmed our commitment to eradicate those opposing China based in Myanmar. In addition, China reaffirmed their support for stability of Myanmar’s political system. Moreover, we have made constructive discussions with the Leaders of Thailand, Cambodia and Laos. We also met with Chinese entrepreneurs and achieved their interest to make investment in Myanmar. The concerned officials need to continue the implementation of the work processes by laying down the action plans. In addition, the implementations of One Belt One Road project, Myanmar-China Economic Corridor projects will be accelerated in the near future. For education sector, China pledged to invite more scholars from Myanmar, continuing their supports for socio-economic development of Myanmar."

The Maj-Gen concluded that he trip has brought a fruitful outcomes for socio-economic development of the nation and its people.Myanmar delegation visited China from November 5th to 10th at the invitation of the Chinese Government. During the tour, the delegation attended 8th GMS Summit, 10th ACMECS Summit and 11th CLMV Summit. It is learnt that Myanmar will host the CLMV Summit next year.
