







Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing paid official state visits to Russia and Belarus at the invitations of Russian President Mr. Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and Belarusian President Mr. Alexander Gregoryevich Lukashenko.
On Sunday, the Prime Minister wrapped up the tour and left from Novosibirsk where they were seen off at the airport by the Governor, the Myanmar Consulate General and officials. During the tour in Russia, the Prime Minister met with the Russian President as well as the parliamentary speakers and government officials.
The Prime Minister also participated in the Myanmar-Russia Business Forum and attended the opening ceremonies of Myanmar Consulate General Office in St.Petersburg and Novosibirsk. In addition, a number of agreements and MOUs were signed, promoting the bilateral friendship and cooperation.
While in Belarus, the Prime Minister met with the Belarusian President, Chairman of the National Assembly and government officials. He also joined the Myanmar-Belarus Business Forum, and witnessed the signing of bilateral agreements and MOUs. During the return trip, the Prime Minister replied to the media personnel who accompanied the tour.
The Prime Minister and delegation member arrived back in Nay Pyi Taw in the evening. They were welcomed back at the airport by Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win, Council Secretary General Aung Lin Dwe, council members, Union Ministers, senior military officers and officials from the Russian Embassy and its Military Attache Office.
In addition, ethnic national races, cultural troupes, artists and local people also welcomed the delegation at the airport and along the road to the roundabout. The tours to Russia and Belarus bring great achievement to the nation, creating opportunities for agriculture, economy, trade, education and tourism sectors while promoting cooperation between the two people as well as amogn the entrepreneurs.
