Fruitful outcomes adopted at the UN Environment Assembly

Fruitful outcomes were adopted at the closing plenary of the sixth session of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA-6) in Nairobi, Kenya, on Friday. The UNEA-6 concluded with 15 resolutions adopted, two decisions and a Ministerial Declaration aimed at halting the progression of the triple planetary crisis of climate change, nature and biodiversity loss, and pollution and waste. 

During the five-day conference, UNEA-6 saw delegates debate everything from the use of artificial intelligence to solar engineering techniques. More than 7,000 delegates from 182 UN Member States and more than 170 ministers participated in this event.
