

According to the Vietnam Fruit and Vegetables Association, Vietnam earned nearly 1.9 billion USD from fruit and vegetable exports during the first five months of this year, representing an increase of 29% year over year.
This year, Vietnam's vegetable and fruit sector is enjoying bright prospects and is set to earn 4 billion USD in export revenue thanks to its popularity in many international markets. In the first 5 months of the year, the export volume of vegetables and fruits to China reached 805 million USD, making up 59% of the market share. In particular, durian, dragon fruit, and banana were the most popular products.
The General Secretary of the Vietnam Fruit Association said that the peak period is from February to April. According to the Vietnam Fruit Association, aside from China, the US, European, and Japanese markets have also witnessed impressive growth.
