Friendship Bridge inspection: MoHT DM inspected Myanmar-Thai friendship Bridge No.1

Deputy Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Phyo Zaw Soe visited Myanmar-Thai Friendship Bridge No.1 which connects the Tachileik Township in Shan State (East) of Myanmar with Mai Sai in Thailand on Monday afternoon.

During the visit, he inspected the conditions and safety measures of entry/exist border gate.

Then, the Deputy Minister inspected the Information counter on the bridge opened by Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, operations of giving information about the destination areas for local and foreign tourists, and gave necessary instructions.

Deputy Minister also toured round the Department of Hotels and Tourism (Tachileik Branch), met and encouraged the departmental staff to carry out the process systematically, follow the rules and procedures of the Ministry, continuous studying and learning to become good employees who can bring the interest of the ministry and the country.
