Friendly Ties: Ceremonially Welcome extended for Royal Thai Air Chief

At the invitation of Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung, Commander-In-Chief of Royal Thai Air Force Air Chief Marshal Alongkorn Vannarot attended the 20th ASEAN Air Chiefs Conference (20th AACC) hosted by Myanmar.

On Friday morning, the Air Chief Marshal was ceremonially welcomed by the Commander-in-Chief (Air) at the Bayint Naung Avenue in Nay Pyi Taw. First, they received the honor of guards’ salute and inspected the guards of Honor. 

After that, the officials from two countries who attended the ceremony were introduced and the Royal Thai Air Chief signed in the distinguished guest book.

Then, General Tun Aung received the visiting Royal Thai Air Chief and cordially discussed on reciprocal friendly tours, sending trainees, boosting relations between the two Air forces, technical information exchange, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief HADR.  Next, General Tun Aung hosted a luncheon in honour of the visiting Air Chief Marshal, before leaving for Nay Pyi Taw airport.
