Friendly Relations: SAC Chairman receives a delegation of Russia Orthodox Church

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a Russian delegation led by Metropolitan of Singapore and South-East Asia His Eminence Sergiyat his office in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.

They discussed matters on promoting bilateral relations, reciprocal exchange of culture and religion, strengthening friendship between the two countries and its people and establishment of Russia Orthodox Church in Myanmar.

They also talked about the establishment of Buddha Center and Shwezigon Replica Pagoda in Russia and construction of the world largest Maravijaya Marble Buddha Image in Myanmar. The Metropolitan also expressed his wished for achieving development, peace and stability in Myanmar.
