Friendly Football Match: Fund raising event for quake-hit communities

Jointly organized by Kachin State Government and Shingni Nbat Chairty Association, a Friendly Women Football Match between Kachin State Entrepreneur Team and Kachin Artist Team was held on 19th April at State Football Ground aiming to raise fund to provide necessary relief suplies for the earthquake victims.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan highlighted the efforts of the state government in rapid transportation of the relief assistance to the earthquake victims and assured on systematic fund management for the effective rehabilitation process.

Then, the founder of the Shingni Nbat Charity Association made a speech. After enjoying the stage performances of the local artists and Malikha Music Band, the attendees enjoyed the football match. During the event, over 100 million kyat fund was raised including 5 million kyat cash assistance donated by the Chief Minister.
