Fresher welcoming: Sagaing Region CM attended fresher welcoming ceremonies

The fresher welcome ceremony of Monywa University for 2022-2023 academic year was held in the morning on December 27 and attended by the Chief Minister of Sagaing Region U Myat Kyaw, region chief justice and members of region government and departmental officials, rector, profesors/heads of departments, faculty members and students.

At the ceremony, the region chief minister stressed to nurture the students who are the great expectation of the country to be the good citizens through the development of the education and to put efforts for self-building by the students.

Next, the Chief Minister provided one million Kyats of cash assistance to the rector of Monywa University and the region minister for social affairs U Aye Hlaing provided one million Kyats of cash assistance for the students who are studying at the university and the rector Dr. Aung Kyaw thin extended words of greetings.

Then, the chief minister and officials cordially greeted the students and the ceremony was concluded.

Afterward, the chief minister and officials attended the fresher welcome ceremony of Monywa University of Economics for 2022-2023 academic year and extended words of greetings.

Next, the Chief Minister provided one million Kyats of cash assistance to the rector of Monywa University of Economics and the region minister for social affairs U Aye Hlaing provided one million Kyats of cash assistance for the students who are studying at the university.

 Then, the rector of Monywa University of Economics Dr. Thida Kyu clarified the teaching activities and a fourth year student extended words of greetings and a first year student expressed words of thanks.

Then, the chief minister and officials cordially greeted the students and the ceremony was concluded.
