







The fresher welcoming ceremony of new MRTV staff was held at the Auditorium of Myanma Radio and Television in Nay Pyi Taw Tatkone on Wednesday in conjunction with a ceremony to honour the staff who participated in Myanma Motion Picture Academy Award Presentation Ceremony.
First, the staff from MRTV entertained with the dance “The Diamond Jubilee True Beauty... Forever MRTV” at the Auditorium hall. At the event, Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn said that Myanma Radio and Television has developed more than before and has reached the level of high standard media that manages state-level events.
He welcomes all new staff who enter MRTV and he would like them to become the staffs who can implement the goals of the state media. He added that the staff must follow the civil service rules and regulations and also perform duties well. He called for making efforts to promote the image of the nation and the dignity of the department with the expertise of individual staff. Later, the Union Minister presented certificates of honour and honoraria for the MRTV staff who contributed their efforts in Myanma Motion Picture Academy Award Presentation Ceremony and the Director General U Ye Naing and the Deputy Director General U Win Thu accepted the cash award.
Afterwards, the staffs performed an one-act play and a new staff spoke words of thanks. The staff then entertained with the dance. After that, the Union Minister presented cash award to the staff who performed in the ceremony. The Union Minister and party then arrived at the training room and observed opening of the training course on news reading, presenting and mater of ceremonies. The Union Minister and officials then had lunch together with officers and new staff at the MRTV office canteen.
They then looked into broadcasting the news at the News Channel studio and installation of the Water Cooled Chiller. Afterwards, they visited male and female hostels of the staff and housings and looked into their livings and called for fire safety and beautifying of the housing compound.
In the skill enhancement training course for the new staff who will serve at the MRTV, the objectives, organization and functions of MRTV, broadcasting programs and the civil service law, bylaw and ethics conducted by the Union Civil Service Board will be taught to 132 trainees from 8th to 12th May, it is learned.
