Fresher Welcome Ceremony: Monywa Education Degree College welcomes fresher

The fresher welcoming ceremony of trainees of B.Ed Distance Education Course No.1/2022 2nd year and No. 3/2023 1st year of Monywa Education Degree College was held at the college in Sagaing Region on Wednesday.

The ceremony was attended by the Region Chief Minister U MyatKyaw, the Region Cabinet members, Region/District/Township level departments, faculty members and trainees. At the event, the Sagaing Region Chief Minister U MyatKyaw said that in building for the development of a nation and a region, knowledgeable skilled human resources are necessary and called for conducting teaching matters with good will to promote the lives of new generation and their education standard and making efforts to produce educated citizens with good thinking skills.

Later, the Chief Minister provided 4 million kyats for 819 trainees and 1 million kyats for Monywa Education Degree College through the Headmistress.

After that, students entertained with the songs and the Regional Social Affairs Minister presented cash. The Chief Minister and party then looked into opening of Summer civic ethics course for the students from basic education schools in Monywa and conducting Summer drum and bungle corps course at the indoor stadium of public sports ground in Monywa and coordinated teaching affairs and the needs with officials.
