Fresher Welcome Ceremony: Event at Government Technical Institute (Magway)

Fresher Welcome Ceremony of the Government Technical Institute (Magway) was held at the institute’s meeting hall.

Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, regional ministers, rectors, departmental officials, lecturers and students were in attendance. After an opening speech by the Principal of the Government Technical Institute (Magway), one of the students expressed words of greeting to fresher students.

And, attendees enjoyed the stage performance of the students. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister expressed words of welcome to 166 first year students and urged all of them to observe up-to-date knowledge to become skillful ones.

It is very important to develop human resources.He added that during this 2024-2025 academic year, a total of 336 students are in attendence at the Institute and there are many opportunities for outstanding students, the Chief Minister added. And, the principal of the institute made explanation on the purposes of holding the fresher welcome ceremony, and the students presented stage performances.
