Monywa Economic University hosted a fresher welcome ceremony for the commencement of the 2023-2024 academic year, attended by the Chief Minister of Sagaing Region, U Myat Kyaw.
During the event, the Chief Minister encouraged all attendees to dedicate themselves to learning economic subjects and strive to become experts in the field. The ceremony included greetings from the University's Rector and a senior student, along with expressions of gratitude from a first-year student.
Situated in Sagaing Region, Monywa Economic University attracts students from various parts of Myanmar, with a majority hailing from Sagaing and Magwe Regions, as well as Kachin, Shan State (North), and Chin States. Similarly, Monywa University also organized a fresher welcome ceremony, where Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw urged students to exert strenuous efforts for the emergence of intellectuals and intelligentsia who can contribute to the development of the nation.
The University's Rector extended warm greetings to the new students for the 2023-2024 academic year.
