Free Surgical Operation: Specialist From Belgium Perform Operations At Puta-O

With the guidance of Sitagu Sayadaw and the support of Htoo Foundation, Medical Action Myanmar and the District Health Treatment Department, the specialists from Belgium gave free surgical operations to patients at Puta-O District People’s Hospital on Sunday, according to the Information and Public Relations Department.

12-member specialists team led by Dr. Patrick Tonnard from Belgium and 6 specialists from Myanmar would perform surgical treatments to cleft lip and palate patients, those who got burn-injured on faces, animal scratch-injuried, accident injuries and dental health care with free of charge from 6th to 11th October.

The District and Township Administrators, the District Medical Superintendent and officials are providing assistance in undertaking health care services.
