Free Of Corruption: President Met Anti-Corruption Commission

President U Win Myint met Chairman of Anti-Corruption Commission U Aung Kyi and members at the Presidential Palace in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

The President stressed that it is essential to have free of corruption in building the clean Government and good Governance. Free of corruption is related to getting foreign investment and achieving national development as well as the dignity of the country.

He urged the Anti-Corruption Commission to carry out the tasks strictly and systematically. He pointed out that if the corruption cases were decreased, more implementations could be carried out for the interest of the people.

He added that the commission must report openly if they encounter the interferences in their work process. He also said to form the sub-commissions in the Regions and States or to merge with the departmental organizations.

The President instructed the commission to carry out their tasks decisively for the people of all walks of live. Commission Chairman U Aung Kyi later presented the reform process of the commission and future plans.
