France women's soccer team trains as World Cup approaches

The French women's soccer team held a practice session at their training grounds on Thursday, as the 2019 Women's World Cup approaches. The squad of 23 players, which will face Thailand for a friendly match on Saturday, continues to drive forwards in its preparations for the 24-team tournament.

The Coach has said the players are focused and the morale is up, especially after French side has triumphed in the Women's Champions League final against Barcelona on May 18. She also said she is yet to select the 11 starting players for France's first World Cup match against South Korea on June 7 in Paris. France's best performance at a World Cup was fourth place in the 2011 tournament held in Germany.
