France wants to partner with Chile in lithium exploitation

France is interested in partnering with Chile to exploit lithium, a key mineral in the manufacturing of batteries for electric vehicles, said French Minister in charge of Foreign Trade, Olivier Becht. He added that France wants to offer Chile technology to reduce water consumption in the extraction process of lithium.
