France hosts first international space summit in Paris

Paris is hosting its first International Space Summit at the Grand Palais on September 9 to 10 with the attendance of 2,000 participants representing 120 international delegations. Championed by French President Emmanuel Macron, the initiative of the summit is to boost European strategic autonomy and global space cooperation.

The core pillars include defense and security, the space economy, space regulation, and scientific research.
