South Korea government is restarting the systems of six data rooms from number one to six at the headquarters of the National Information Resources Service in Daejeon.

This is because they were relatively less affected by the fire and can be restored without relocation. But the data room on the fifth floor is filled with fire-associated dust. Since servers are vulnerable to static and water, cleaning by a specialist firm is expected to take one to two weeks.

The situation is more serious in data room 7-1. There were a total of 96 systems in this room. As it is impossible to restore them at the Daejeon headquarters, they will be relocated and installed at a public-private joint cloud at the Daegu center. It is predicted to take at least four weeks.
