Forum of media and analytical centers of the Global South held in China

The International Forum of Media and Analytical Centers of the Global South took place in Kunming on Saturday, the administrative center of Yunnan Province, China.  

The forum brought together leading experts, media executives, and journalists from 110 countries across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. The event was co-organized by the Xinhua News Agency and the Yunnan Provincial Government.

The main theme of the forum was "Empowering the Global South, Steering Global Change." Over the course of three days, participants discussed pressing issues such as peace building, exploring new paths of cooperation, supporting development, and strengthening dialogue between civilizations.
