Foreign travel ban on former PM Oli and other individuals

The Judicial Commission that is formed to probe the recent protest’s incidents has recommended a foreign travel ban on five individuals, including former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. The Commission decided to request the relevant authorities to restrict their travel abroad as investigations are ongoing.

All five have been barred from leaving the Kathmandu Valley without prior approval from the Commission. Officials said their presence may be required at any time during the inquiry process.
