Foreign Minister Rana calls on Visiting Vietnamese Vice President

Nepal’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba paid a courtesy call on Visiting Vice President of Viet Nam Vo Thi Anh Xuan in Kathmandu. 

Xuan arrived Nepal on Saturday on a three-day official visit at the invitation of Nepal’s Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav. This is the first-ever visit at this level from Viet Nam to Nepal and carries special significance as the year 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on a wide range of bilateral matters, including fostering high-level exchanges, promoting tourism cooperation, and the possibility of initiating air connectivity, reflecting the spirit of friendship and cooperation between Nepal and Viet Nam.
