Forbes says Musk regains world's richest person title

US magazine Forbes has named Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla as the richest person on the planet. Forbes released its annual list of the world's wealthiest people on Tuesday. Musk regained the top spot for the first time in three years with an estimated net worth of 342 billion dollars. Forbes said a surge in the stock market valuations of Musk's SpaceX and xAI businesses, pushed up his assets by 147 billion dollars over the past year.
