Football competition: Third-place match played at the Wunna Theikdistadium

The 2024 Inter-Ministerial Universities Football Competition is being held from August 31st to September 9th with the aim of developing outstanding athletes from the university football competitions into future national sports representatives.

After the Semi-Final matches have concluded, the third-place match is being played at the Wunna Theikdistadium, Training Field No. 1.", Nay Pyi Taw, in the morning on 9th September.

The matchers were watched by the Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw, Deputy Ministers, and officials.

In the third-place match played this morning, the teams represented the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation competed against each other. The team represented the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation defeated the team of Ministry of Science and Technology with a score of 2-1 and secured third place."
