Floods in Tatkone: Relief measures for the affected individuals

On Saturday, Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe, along with other concerned officials inspected the basic education schools in Tatkone Township that were affected by floods triggered by the Typhoon Yagi.

The Union Minister visited the Basic Education Middle School (Branch) in ThaHtay Gone Village, TatKone Township. During his visit, he comforted the flood-affected academic personnel and provided cash assistance. He also gave instructions for the swift implementation of restoration efforts and emphasized for prompt resumption of teaching and learning activities.

The Union Minister then visited Aung Zeya, Bayint Naung and No. 1 Basic Education Middle Schools in Tatkone Township, where he inspected the classrooms’ damage affected by the floods.

There, he offered words of comfort to the teachers, provided cash assistance and fulfilled the needs. He then proceeded to the temporary relief camp opened at No. 1 Basic Education Middle School where he met with flood-affected individuals and provided them with water bottles and packs of instant noodles.
