Hundreds of people were ordered to evacuate their homes on Monday as the wild weather continues to batter Australia's southeast of Victoria State.

Authorities warned residents and tourists to leave immediately as floodwaters rose to dangerous level. Multiple flood and thunderstorm warnings were in place across Victoria. Authorities rescued 38 people from flooding and almost 1,000 calls were made for help, said by the Victoria State of Emergency Services.
