Floods in Mandalay: Efforts for disaster response measures

Mandalay Region Disaster Management Committee held its meeting at the Regional Government Office on September 13th. Chairman of the Committee Chief Minister U Myo Aung and officials attended the meeting and discussed matters on disaster preparedness measures.

They later visited TadaOo Township to oversee the inundation of Yangon-Mandalay Expressway. Local villagers were evacuated to the safer places and relief items were provided.
